Kimber,
I confirmed today with Read Broadhead (secretary for BZA) what I heard last week from Jessie; Bel Rio has dropped the apppeal so they will not be on the today's agenda for BZA appeals. I gather this means they are paying the fine and presumably modifiing their setup to follow zoning requirements (something like not more than 1/8" of floor for performance/music). This will not address noise, parking, traffic, pedestrian, street scape issues so we need to contimue to keep the city aware of our concerns and desire to see changes.
Jessie,
If you (or anyone else) has been sending emails to the list I have not been getting them. How do we get that fixed and how do we get the BCNA web site (http://www.belmontcarlton.org/) updated? These seem critical to getting communication working on our neigborhood. How can we help get this done?
Regards,
Julia

>Bel Rio’s exterior serving area “increases the size of venue,” requires a site plan amendment. Lisa suggests action restricting ABC license for moderating behavior of the newly zoned Belmont restaurant, e.g., servers serving from public sidewalk.
