A group of local citizens from the Belmont neighborhood are getting together Saturday morning to help clean up their back yard. Neighbors from both sides of Pollock's Branch will be working in cooperation with the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority and the Rivanna Conservation Society on a trash pick up along the six blocks of the creek. The Charlottesville Redevelopment Housing Authority will be providing trash bags and bulk pick up for the event. Pollock's Branch is the stream that drains much of the west side of Belmont, it starts at the IX complex and runs parallel to 6th Street and merges with Moores Creek at Jordan Park. <br>
