*City of Charlottesville to Host Naturalist Presentation* *Event Will
Discuss the Balance of Gardening and Respect for Wildlife*



CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA: The City of Charlottesville is pleased to host a free
45-minute slide presentation by Crozet naturalist Marlene A. Condon.  This
local author/photographer of *The* *Nature-friendly* *Garden* will speak at
*7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13th* in Charlottesville’s *City
Space*overlooking the east end of the Downtown Mall at 100 5
th Street.



Condon will explain how the natural world works and why it’s so important
and beneficial to gardeners to create nature-friendly landscapes around
homes and businesses.  The City invites the public to meet the many kinds of
local wildlife that can keep your yard functioning well and make you a
contented gardener!



The author will explain the basic structure of a nature-friendly garden and
will answer wildlife and gardening questions following the presentation.
