[Bcna-announce] BCNA Meeting Monday, February 9th

Dear Neighbors,
With this beautiful "winter" weather please consider taking the time to
stroll down to Clark Elementary School. Look for us in the downstairs art
room. The meeting starts at 7PM and will last as long as we have things to
talk about.
This meetings agenda will include:

-The RWSA hosted a meeting this past week discussing upcoming renovations to
the wast water treatment facility. It will be a 42 month long project that
has an estimated price tag of $55 million. The state of the art renovations
will hopefully significantly reduce the  stench factor and
reduce contaminants in the water to below 2012 Virginia state requirements.

-I am still working on organizing some community gardens. The process is
moving along slow but steady.

-There has been a request to adjust the bus route along Belmont Park for
traffic calming.

Please feel free to bring any comments or concerns you have to the meeting
to be addressed.
