Applications are being accepted for the following boards and commissions
appointed by City Council:

   - Charlottesville-Albemarle Commission on Children and Families


         (citizen and youth representative)


   - Charlottesville Sister City Commission (citizen at large and citizen
   representing sister city relationship with Poggio a Caiano, Italy)
   - Community Development Block Grant Task Force (Rose Hill Neighborhood
   Representative)
   - Housing Advisory Committee (banker or citizen at large)
   - Piedmont Virginia Community College Board
   - Planning Commission
   - Region Ten Community Services Board
   - Social Services Advisory Board

Preference is given to residents of the City of Charlottesville or may be
required.  The deadline for receipt of applications is *Thursday, June 11,
2009*.
