[Bcna-announce] Belmont trail work this Saturday

BCNA,

We have the services of a UVa group who is coming to help finish construction of a new trail connecting Jordan Park to Avon Street this Saturday.   I will be able to help coordinate this, but in my role as City planner, I also have to coordinate another group of volunteers at McIntire Park at the same time.

Can anyone help by providing guidance to the group and make sure if anything comes up you can help contact me or (let's hope not) emergency responders).   The group arrives on a bus at ~11am at Jordan PaArk and will work for 2 hours.   I can make sure tools get to the site, but would be nice to get some help with that, too.

I believe this is the 3rd year the group has come, and its new students getting to know the community.   We are the official adopters/maintainers of the Rivanna trail in our neighborhood, so having this work done by volunteers is very helpful.
