Dear Folks of Belmont/Carlton,

What is the future of the South Fork Rivanna Reservoir? What can we afford
as taxpayers and water/sewer ratepayers?
This *vital* issue involves more than money, more than potable water. It
involves our freedom to give public input.

*RESERVOIR TASK FORCE PUBLIC QUESTIONNAIRE

The South Fork Reservoir Stewardship Task Force was appointed in July 2008
by the County BOS, Albemarle Co Service Authority, City Council and RSWA to
more closely examine the issues related to maintaining the reservoir.

*One item of work for the Task Force is to receive public input on the
community expectations for the future of the South Fork Rivanna Reservoir.


*Task Force members have prepared a questionnaire to gather public
information on the community's expectations for the reservoir. An online
copy of the questionnaire is posted at  *

Paper versions can be obtained by calling the Rivanna Water and Sewer
Authority at (434) 977-2970 Ext. 197. There are paper copies at City Hall:
Neighborhood Development Services desk, City Manager's Office, and City Hall
front lobby.
