Dear Belmont-Carlton,

I received the e-mail below from the President of the North Downtown
Neighborhood Association.  If you have the time please come to the meeting.
I plan on attending and will have the results of the meeting to follow and
also at our next BCNA meeting on Tuesday, December 8th.

At the next meeting I would also like to begin the discussion of community
gardens. I think they could benefit many and encourage community
participation on many levels. But the questions of "how" and "where" need to
be discussed. If you or someone you know has experience in gardening or want
to learn please come to our next meeting and help start planning.

*Dear All,*

*        Council will be meeting with the Board of Supervisors, RWSA and
Alb. Service Authority Boards on Tuesday Nov. 25th to discuss the Scope of
Work that Council voted on  to get adequate cost data on all components of
the Water Supply Proposal including getting the dredging surveys before
going forward with any construction on a new dam at Ragged Mt.*

* The County/other boards/RSWA may try to oppose this by saying this is too
expensive  Without adequate information we could sink ourselves into a $200
million dollar hole.*

* Please contact the councilors (council at charlottesville.org) and support
going forward with the Scope of Work they approved to get correct cost
information.  And if you can, attend the meeting to give them support at the
City Space on the downtown mall by the Market St. parking garage on*

* Tuesday Nov. 25th from 2-4pm at the City Space*
