[Bcna-announce] BCNA Meeting Tuesday, Nov. 11

One week after the big election please stop by Clark Elementary School at 7
pm. The BCNA will host it's monthly meeting in the lower level art room.

Who are the members of the Belmont-Carlton Neighborhood Association?
The answer is simple, everyone who lives in this fine little neighborhood.
Please bring any ideas you might have on ways to make improvements or
 maintain
the quality of life in our neighborhood.

This month Jeffery Barrett from the Piedmont Housing Authority will stop by
to discuss
some renovations.

 "Piedmont Housing Alliance is preparing to renovate the 50 affordable
apartments at 1400 Monticello Road known as the Monticello Vista
Apartments.  We have contracted with Martin-Horn, who will begin
construction in the middle of January. We are upgrading the units' energy
efficiency, replacing all appliances and fixtures, replacing the roof, and,
since the property will continue to cater to special needs residents, we
plan to add office space for Region 10 Community Services Board.  Kevin Wood
and Jeff Barrett of Piedmont Housing Alliance will come to the next
Belmont-Carlton Neighborhood Association meeting to share details about the
project, and respond to any questions or concerns folks may have about the
project's effects on the neighborhood."
